Just got car back from garage, mechanic disconnected now i need a code. any ideas, dont have book etc..

Look in your handbook/wallet because my salesman very kindly wrote the radio code on a business card for me

you need the serial M*****
and you can get a key-generator from web or you can go ask your ford dealer
for example
M123456

I can give you one just as good. Several years ago I had to disconnect the battery to the Metro that I had at the time and then found that I'd never been given the codecard with the rest of the documents. I rang up the local Rover Dealership and asked if they would be able to give me it, as in I wanted to check before driving through. Crazily they simply asked for the car registration and gave me the code over the phone without asking for my name or anything. I could have been someone who'd just nicked it!

Don't think it would be Jack.
The whole point of the code is a deterent for thieves. If it was on the top, they would know this and steal the stereo anyway. If yours has it on top it's because a past owner put it there.
