right so im thinking the ford power start button is amber correct. but why, is it an amber led or amber material in he button?as i wnt to change it to green!:) so was hoping i could just change the led so any ideas ppl??

Its red mate,but it's only on until you start the engine,once you press
it there's no light

it is its illuminated all the time while the engine is on, you lot with focus sts am i correct?

i think it all depends on the way u connect it... the tutorials online connect it in a way that switches off after the engine is turned on

ahh right well on my focus st it was always illuminated when driving and in my mk2 rs its always illuminated so standard from factory i presume there all like that. was just wondering how i take it apart to get at the led???

umm id also like to know a way to connect it so that it stays always lit up if anyone knows...

as far as light and stuff are concerned it just need to be hooked upto a constand power supply from the batter like hooked upto something that always has a live feed even when ignition is off such as cd player or lights or interior lights i think

i was browsing around for more info on the power button this morning and met some topics on how to change all the interior light to blue but not the power button.

anything can be changed pal, just need sum small cutters and soldering iron then eh??:)how do you change the interior leds then??
