Yes it's good, although it's closer to 186bhp.

Thanks guys, yes I meant the Pumaspeed, with that much extra BHP what else would you recommend uprating?

Cheers!

everything, brakes first before you put any more power in to the car uprated discs and pads should be ok.

No need to uprate the brakes really, Kaxe is running a supercharger on standards

LOL yes I am!
I'm running on the original pads and discs
I feel the 's brakes are good enough. Only uprate if you're pushing 310bhp+

I had the 182 package from pumaspeed and with that i decided brtakes would be a good idea.

braded brake lines made the WORLD of difference! such a good mod for £60, to accompanie that i went with some mintex pads too and oh my gosh! when i brake it feels like the world is turning slower because they're so good lol

Right last question all, anyone who has gone for 180BHP +, how did it affect your insurance?

I totally agree. Mountune all the way.

Insurance is still cheap and this kit is Ford approved.

I was going to use Pumaspeed as it was 250 miles closer than MT but, the service on the phone was c**p. However, I can't comment on their performance package but, can advise you that having the 185 MT kit is awesome. Here is some info I posted to the forum just after the 185 upgrade... http://www.fordfiestast.co.uk/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=177147&an=0&page=4#177147

Hope this helps.

I would stick to the Mountune package if you have any warranty left, otherwise I'd go Pumaspeed as they seem to offer better value for money

where you from kaxe? im thinking of doing supercharing mine.. have you got cams and the cossie inlet manifold?

Also to add my opinion to the above, i think the pumaspeed is a better choice go with adrian flux for insurance... it costs me £0 for every mod i add and im 22 male and in the motor trade with 2 years ncb for 1k a year.
