Hi

Well basically I'm looking to swap my 16" alloys (In Mexico the Fiesta ST comes with 16" instead of 17").

I know the 17" has
Standard
17x7 size, 4x108 pcd, 52.5 offset

So how far either side could I safely go?

I read somewhere it's +/- 9 in offset that you can change wheels, but not sure if is true, though.

Thanks
Iber

This Wheel and Tyre tool is excellent for checking what offset/wheel/tyre combo's work ... obviously input the original wheel and tyre specs in the left hand side and play with different combo's in the right hand side and check the differences.

http://www.rimsntires.com/rt_specs.jsp?i...xt1=&text2=

Personally I wouldn't go anymore positive offset than the original 52.2 as there is almost no clearance between the inner edge of the rear tyres and the wheel arch shroud ... why would you want to tuck your wheels any further under the arches anyhow? ... you'd want to bring the wheels out more surely?

The best setup on the Fiesta ST is a 17" x 7" wheel, ET40 offset with 205/40R17 tyres ... looks great!

That combo will obviously bring the wheels out a further 12.5mm more than the stock wheels .. fills the arches much better.

Thanks Robjh

Good link!

I was trying to fit these rims:

17x7 size, 4x108 pcd, 26 offset

But it seems I will have issues with that. The good news is that I saw the

Sparco Wheels Pista
17x7 size, 4x108 pcd, 42 offset

It they should be OK in the Fiesta ST.

Thanks
Iber

The ET26 ones are definately a no go! .. they will stick out past the guards way too much!

The Sparco ones with the ET42 offset will fit fine and will look excellent ..
