Hi,
I was thinking of fittina a Parrot hands free system to my pre-facelift 2005 ST however I have heard from another helpfull member that they are not really compatable.
Can anybody on here recomend any system that integrates with the stereo that will work on the older ST's?

i have a pioneer headunit in my pre-facelift that has a handsfree unit attached to it...

i did have a topic on here but i cant find it.

and im on my work computer so cant get my pics up

i have a parrot there great ive had all sorts of phones connected to it all fine

Kenny, is yours a pre pr post facelift model?
I hear that they work fine on the post facelift but have issues on the earlier cars.

mines a facelift i dont know why there would be a problem with pre facelift models havent heard of it before.

i have a pioneer double din in my pre facelift with built in handfree as well. like dans but his is loads nicer iirc.

cut the slats out and fit a double din. you wont regret it.

i got this one, has a mic wired to the A-pillar and works with the streering column remote:

A mate had that one....was a nice headunit has actually gone up in price since he bought his!

do you get centre consoles ready to accept aftermarket stereo's or do you just need to cut what you have?

You can buy them which I did, was about £50...
The way I looked at it was I would have to buy another one with the three slots in when I sold the car if I cut the bars out anyway

if u are buying a new parrot go to halfords they do free fitting. they done mine have had no probs

Just watch them instensely and personally I would take photos before they touch it

I had my parrot kit done at Halfords too for free and job done was very good!

I've got an Alpine W203Ri with bluetooth handsfree. Got full control of phone (inc iphone) via the headunit. Can go through contacts etc.



Great little unit imho
