I've had my car mot'd yesterday which it passed but since it was jacked up it's seems to sit higher than normal and if i push down on the front panel there isn't alot of bounce in the shocks is this normal. It's on standard springs and shocks that have done 71,000 miles i'm suspecting that when it was jacked up the valving in the front shocks have knackered up. I only noticed it when driving home the suspension seemed to be harder and it seemed to get thrown off line when i hit a bump mid corner.
Are the ST shocks the same as a standard Fiesta or are they different.

When you jack it up the spring and shock expand due to less weight on them, they normally settle back down after a short drive, would have to check with my parts guy tomorrow to see if shocks are same, but should imagine them being stiffer than the lesser models.
