About 4 youths aged approx 14-16 years old decided to throw some stones at my mum whilst she was walking the dog, they also threw one at the dog. When she questioned this, they just laughed and threw some more. Now had I been there, these pathetic weak cowards would have s*it themselves and run off. As much as I might like to go down there and kick ass Chuck Norris style, I work for the police in an office job and have to maintain professionalism even off duty, so we play this by the book. These kids were in school uniform and the headteacher has told my mum to attend with police officers to find the lads from school photos. We had a call from a Detective Inspector who says that he wants this sorting as a priority and is not prepared to tolerate this crap. At least we have had a good initial response from the feds. Hopefully these gits will get busted .

Disgusting... good to see Police involved though, I am a teacher and head of year and so sometimes I have to get involved with these things and schools and police work together very well on these incidents or they do where I am so hope all gets sorted soon!

Issue here is, if they weren't in school uniform bet the police wouldn't show half the interest ?

Exactly Steve, school can only get involved if the uniform has been identified as ours and so Police will only support us if we say uniform has been identified.

Hate year 7s stu when i was in year 11 they were becoming sooo cocky...obviously put back in their place

Can't tell you how many incidents involving older pupils I have to deal with lol "why do you think he hit you?"........"I called him ****" ,..."then do you think you deserved that?" ...."probably" lol

not much yobbery at my school, consequences were:-

cane
hose pipe
50mph blackboard duster
rather large PE teachers training shoe

Hope they get whats coming to them for what they did. When i was in sixth form you could literally look back through the various years of our school and see where it was all going wrong attitude wise
