i have a medium tint on the front for n.ireland 70% light has to get through the window. my fronts block out 34% so its 4% over, got some new wonderful tint tho that takes natural light to to make it look tinted so in the mot centres we have here due to there lighting the windows look fine and it passed its 1st m.o.t also helps if the back is dark, takes emphasis off the fronts.

Tints aren't checked on an MOT, something about it being unreasonable to make all MOT test stations buy the equipment

Just a case of if you get stopped by a traffic officer
