All I say is if you ever mod your = Be careful as to not get in too deep!

A full exhaust, lowering springs and K&N is not too deep and really gets the most out of the fiesta imo!

Cams and inlet like I did and you might aswell go for the full whack and stick a charger on but having said that you have to uprate the clutch and get a diff and then it all starts getting expensive!

So be careful because if I could turn back time I would of just either: done the basics to make the drive better or left it standard...
Saying all this I have had a lot of fun and I am in the next issue of FastFord BUT sooner or later I will have to sell the charger and get throttle bodies so I can gather money for a deposit on a house. I will always keep the car though!
On that bombshell goodnight
P.S. Sorry for hijacking the thread! Enjoy the best fiesta EVER!

Hi all,
I am new at this and was wondering what exhaust is best? I dont want it to drone. I have heard that a K&N 57i is also helpful. Dreamscience do a chip is it very good and what is available in Oz.

Hi Stork

say hello in newbies section, we have quite a few overseas members and am sure at least two from Auz.
Any aftermarket system will add extra noise it's more the lack of soundproofing in the car though. The cabin doesn't really create any droning unlike other usually older cars. Moreso the exhaust rasps and engine noise make their way through the doors and dashboard/firewall. You can improve these areas and if your hammering your car then the sounds aren't much different from a standard car. Get a K&N on as your first mod, don't bother with any chips, just start with the filter, then flexi/manifold/full exhaust change and you will be more than happy with 160-170ish bhp. Then look at mapping and cams etc.
