Hi guys i've had my St's air con re gassed today because it's hasn't been working after they gassed they told me that the Air con compressor isn't kicking in and the cooling fan isn't coming in either, i've checked for a live at the compressor and it hasn't got one only a earth so thats half of the problem i think. I have check the fuses and they all look ok but i couldn't find any relays for the air con system so am unsure if its a relay fault, as last year when i first got the car when i rained the air con compressor used to click in and the fan would be running independently on the switch. Has any one got any ideas of what the fault is. Also they told me the condenser is leaking aswell so this might become expensive.

try the aircon reg switch located under the o.s.f headlamp brown connector

New condenser fitted is £300 inc re-gas at a small garage.

Depends where you get the work done.

I was quoted £450 from Ford which includes a re-gas!

All fixed now, it was a broken wire that had chaffed on the air con pipe so now need a new pipe but the good news is the condenser is fine and not leaking
