Well i have been signed up to the site a couple of years now i think but i have just been so busy i have had no time to show off my own baby. I bought my Black Fiesta ST150 back in May 2007 and i have just finished paying my loan off so as a celebration i thought i would show you guys what has been done so far! It's an 05 plate and i bought it second hand on 24k for around £9000.00.

I called my ST Tess a while ago, hence the project name and reason behind it was because i was trying to think of a short but nice name to call it and as i have never met a Tess or been with one, i thought why not!!

I have had a few issues with it within the first year of having it, gearbox went after the 2nd day of buying it, then one of my wheel bearings went after 6months, then a further 6months later my power steering pump blew up. All were replaced under warranty so Ford was good for that. Since my warranty has run out, touch wood, i have had no major problems.

I made a few changes when i first bought the car which are listed below:

Leather Gaitor
Black/Red Leather Gearstick
Shorter Aerial
Tinted Windows
Black Ford Vinyls
Car Mats
Parrot Bluetooth
K&N 57i Air Filter

Here is a few pics of my car over the past 2 years before some recent changes:

Since then though i have done some more slightly major changes compared to previous. List is below:

Eibach Lowering Springs from Ford
Black LED Techno Design Tailights from Teamtorquesteer
O.Z 17" Superturismos from Protyre
Blue 8mm Magnecor Plug Leads from Pumaspeed
Zero Sixty 280mm Performance Grooved Discs from Pumaspeed on Front
Zero Sixty 255mm Performance Grooved Discs from Pumaspeed on Rear
Mintex M1144 Front & Rear Brake Pads from Pumaspeed
Painted Calipers in Red
Toyo T1R Tyres on Front & Rear from Protyre

As you can see, it is nothing major at the moment, the tyres & springs have improved the handling massively and the discs/pads have definately made a massive difference to how the car brakes with a slight downside of squeaky brakes but i have reduced it quite alot but greasing the pads as much as possible. I am considering deglazing the pads by using an emery cloth to take the shiny layer of the pad off which should fix the problem. One of the discs has a slight gauge in it though where i think a stone has got in there so this may also be the problem.

Here is a pic of the car and how it looks now:

Now i have a few more ideas in mind for my baby for the next couple of years to keep me happy until i buy a new car, possibly the new ST when it comes out.

Mountune 185 Performance Upgrade
DRM Throttle Bodies
Quaife ATB

I have seriously considered getting the JS Supercharger but after a lot of thought, i just love the sound of the Throttle Bodies too much so think i will be going down that route!

After that, i will probably upgrade the clutch, gearbox & get a set of AP Racing brakes from Jamsport. I will maybe add a few more bits as i go along but i will keep you updated as much as possible!
