After washing the car, peeling the spuds and going for a swim, it's now time to post pics of my car and what I've done. Not an ST but its as close as I could get with the skyrocket car prices in NL.

Gel Overlay Front

Gel Overlay Rear & Smooth Rear Wiper

Gel Overlay Steering Wheel

Front Flat Wipers + "Beesie" Dutch World Cup worm you get free from the supermarket

Closeup of Beesie

Aluminium look ST handles

Aluminium Gear Knob, leatherette gaiter and Alu ring

And finally...my bog standard 1.6 (Bet you guys haven't seen many of those)

I do have the K&N 57i in the post on its way here, as well as silver side stripe kit and gel overlays for the wheel centres. I have plans to replace the standard RDS EON 4500, not sure with a single or double din headunit yet though. Thinking about lowering and an exhaust but no $$$ for that atm. Also want to colour code door handles, lock bezels, maybe fog light and reflector surrounds too but thats for a bit later. Just gonna enjoy the car a bit more first.
Anyway, hope u guys like it.

Lovely car. I have a soft spot for the zs as it's a cracking little car.

There are plently of pics of my car around with the bonnet up

I don't know if the 57i is different to the pipercross filter i had but it was a mare to fit.

Out of the box you had to replace the standard air filter with a rubber one and then attach the filter to the end of the air box. Makes no difference to performance at all. I ended up botching this together. Ideally you need a custom inlet pipe to replace my botched one

From my experience the se engine in the mk6 zs is really not worth tuning. I spent alot of time and money trying and it was just too much hassle for such little gains.

The best mod for the zs is a set of eibachs

Enjoy it and we love pics on this site no matter what car you drive.

All cars are more expensive in NL than the UK. I had to pay for this probably more than what some of you paid for the ST in the UK. An ST here is at least 3k euros more than what I paid for my ZS and I just couldn't afford that. I'm well pleased with my car, just sometimes wish it had the extra T.

Gents please help me

We all have the same engine under the bonnet or as it seems, is it a 1.6 or 1.4 and how could I definitively tell which is which. Thanks

smart enough, bit of work under engine bay to do, is that rust on your suspension top. Keep us updated as you go, good work.

I'm not sure you can tell just by looking at it

Got them from Ford
Part numbers are: 1363175 and 1363130
I paid about 20 euros per handle at Ford

There is a lot you can do performance wise for the 1.6/1.4. Go to www.stevewyndhamracing.com.

A guy from Warwickshire Modified did loads of mods to his engine and ended up with only 10bhp more than standard... tbh it was funny as all he kept doing was boasting about his engine.

I'd take Mickys advice. Leave the engine alone.
