Right, I got my copy and you lot wont be hearing from me for a while. I'm rubbish at it and its ridiculously addictive so I'm going to be here all night.

I see what you mean about the track, there's a massive difference. And I may have to up the difficulty a little, I've just put lotus on poll...

It is a brilliant game. I've put it on hardest but with abs and traction on med. Not enough control on the ps3 controller to have no tc.

Currently on my second race. About half way and my fingers really hurt down to 50% distance to get through the first season. Raining in Australia but with some clever tatcics lotus is in 11th

One thing i will say is you need to concentrait(sp) Adjusting the wing, engine and pit stops whilst racing is alot to do at once.

May sound like a noobish question but why do you adjust the front wing? Better balance between top speed and cornering? And which setting is which?

More wing = more grip = more downforce = more drag = less top speed

It's a case of fiddling to get a balance between grip and speed that suits how you drive.

Also you might like a car with more grip at the front and less at the back or more at the back and less at the front.

If u damage ur front wing, not smash it off but slight damage, ur engineer will tell u to "put it in the up position" i.e more downforce to compensate for the damage.



So what views are people using?? i can't settle between in car view & T bar view. In the rain, the view is better in car, slightly easier to see.

Well I picked up my copy last night, got it on PS3 as they weren't selling it on xbox in tesco

I picked this up yesterday (ps3) its a fantastic game so far! One thing I did notice is that I got a puncture on my first lap of P1 and P2 which seems a coincidence!

I tried playing with all the assists turned off that hasn't gone well so far time to admit defeat for now and turn on a few!

I just finished the British GP in the Lotus in last place as i had right rear tyre let go thru the flat out Maggots and Becketts section which sent me flying

Oh and i have had a £1.5million pay rise, signed a new contract and promotion to number 1 driver
