Well open the boot and there seems to be two silver bolts on either side of the boot struts, i assume these are holding the spoiler on!?!

That silver bolt looks to me to be holding the spoiler on, how is it holding the boot on!?!

Maybe the fitting of the spoiler is different to the other fiestas

I'd agree only the has the bolts as the spoiler is much bigger. Wouldn't surprise me if Ford only glued the spoiler on other models.

Good luck, sounds like a bigger job than you first thought it would be.

I suspect the smaller spoilers are only glued on then yes.

I said exactly the same phrase when upgrading my speakers and replacing the crappy 6006 cd changer. Every aspect of them was designed to be awkward and cost you money in changing it cos you need 500 million adapters

You mean it didn't fall off of it's own accord. You must have had one of the better built Renaults

Plastic is good in the right places it helps to keep the weight down and dosn,t affect the structural integrity in any way.On the negative side it tends to give when sat on.Personally I think that the ST could do with some because I think it is not so much a problem with the engine power but that the ST is a little overweight it needs to loose 100KG.

The normal mk6 spoilers are only fitted with adhesive tape, so can be pulled off after softening the adhesive with a little heat. Only the ST has the additional 2 bolts.
