The s look fab all together!

As we were 4, we pitted the ST's strength against each other.
Most of the cars there were stripped out and race ready (lots of Pugs) so it wouldn't have been a fair fight anyway.
Looking at the times most of the Normal hatchback/road cars got I think we came about even. The times I saw (in our catagory) ranged between 15.2 and 17.x

Its an old Fiat 500 body shell. Bl**dy loud they were *ears ringing*

We didnt race the STs against any other cars. We kept being annoying and made people shuffle around so we could race each other *hehe*

I like the nice array of ST colours there! And that AC Cobra, was it a true AC cobra? My mate has the kit car type version, its just not the same, but still a laugh! I like your number plate too ST Nut!

*ahem* Yes and no chris.. My first run was my best time (16.5) but my second run against ST_Nut here was poooooooooooo! I was a little "enthusiastic" at the start, hit the rev limiter in 1st and watched ST_Nut disappear off ... Oh well.. I truly do suck at racing starts so I'm off to go practice them at the traffic lights Laterzzzz

After you & Tom pulled out that left 8. There were 5 on the stand and fiestakingfisher got there later but didnt park with us and neither did markduffy for some odd reason So yeh out of the 10 going, 7 did. Dunno who else was missing.

Some great pics there everyone. I like the action shots, but its great that you got some pics of all 5 different colours of s lined up together.

Looks like you all had a good time think i may have passed some of you on the way into the Pod, meant to come over and say hello but every time i got near the cars there weren't any people about.

What car did you have again? I'm a woman u need to explain these things

The fastest time that day was 15.933 secs @87.17 mph(with piperx viper), other times were very close, but DanST had a better time in York, of 15.725 secs @89 mph (piperx panel filter and full Miltek exhaust)

A great day out it was! Great photos, James. You're quite a David Bailey (is that the right name??!). I had a fantastic day it was fun queing up (i mean racing!) with you lot. Pity we couldn't see any of the action cos we had to stay with our cars in the queue. my best time was 16.078 and i'm chuffed cos i beat my time in July.Car has K&N and Miltek flexi pipe I may post some of my pics soon.

I absolutly loved your bmw, The BBS rims are the best for any BMW. It was a fun drive into Santa Pod in the morning, you were really flying. I mad sure i took plenty of pics of your car

Santa Pod is a great day out, the queue is always massive unless you go on a really bad weather day like I did once and managed to get 20 runs out of my Focus... plucking up a time of 16.6 seconds over the 1/4 mile which is not bad atall for a bog standard Focus

Yep I can see the point you're making there chris. I too have just spent ages scanning thorough posts on the "other site" trying to find that vid. Maybe me and chris are both blind but I would like to see that vid, so if you could post a link or better still post the vid on here, I'd be grateful.

Chris, I don't see why DarkRose shouldn'd even have mentioned about the video if she didn't post a link or uploaded it. Some people can be bothered to search for it on fiestastoc.com, even if you can't. Fair enough, a link would be helpful, but suggesting not to mention it otherwise is a bit much.

Thanks Arun, also when everyone clicks on that link they must register to the site first to be able to view the video - its not as easy as I thought it would be by just logging on to the site. There must be an easier way of showing the vid on here too for everyone??

Ok ok all joking aside let's not have this blow up again. I dont think anyone was trying to be nasty and I guess we forget how easy we find "that place" as we are there as much as we are here. The link and instructions as to how to get to the link are there but it would be nice if one of us (perhaps someone who can host the vid for this site) can do so.

A video uploader would be really handy, actually. I'm still to get my in car video from santa pod up on the net, and so such a feature would be quite useful.

Ok just to clear a few things up... I have PMed a few members and now everything is a bit clearer for me and them concerned... sometimes things can just get a bit offline and the path becomes windy... with knocking a few heads together the problem is solved and the line becomes straight again.

With regards to FiestaST.com "The other site" as it is commonly referred to. Members of both sites MUST NOTICE the difference between the sites... Jims site is an OWNERS CLUB... and this site is NOT... Some tensions became apparent about 4 months back and a post was added to clear this up...

As an Admin and Mod of this site I will clear this spillage of emotions up right now before it starts to get a bit nasty.

NONE of the Staff members here have any problems with the other site... we refer to it as "the other site" not because were trying to make a big thing of it but we do not want to lose members by over advertising the fact... if they want to join the other then im sure you are quite capable of finding it yourself... I link this to a car dealership... your not going to refer them to another one of the same manufacturer just for the sake of it??? Again I must emphasis both sites appeal to slightly different people!!!

As I have said in the Video thread I do not have the right just to include a video uploader when Im not paying for the site and forum... Dave and Hugh will not accept any payment from myself or anybody else for the running costs on this site so bare this in mind... you may start kicking up a fuss about this but you DONT have to pay for it!!! I shall upload the video when I have had a word with either of them... until then... no!

Finally with regards to linking...

I personally devote ALL my spare time to this site and DO NOT have any more time to become a member of both sites... I am studying a computing degree and I do have a bit of spare time at the moment but I still only manage to deal with this forum... I will not even be able to do this much as time goes on this is why their are other moderators, we all share the work load... and believe me there is more to do than you may think!!!

Other may not want to sign up to two sites and are perfectly happy with just one. If people were ONLY members of Jims site and a video was uploaded to this site I do not see the problem with linking this post onto there... and likewise the other way... I do not have the time to siv through all the posts on their and due to not being a member this would be made ever more difficult.

A simple link would be perfectly acceptable... as for some of the comments made... I have noted... This forum has never accepted any bitchy comments... It has always been a very nice place to be with a warm welcome and a positive atmosphere... this WILL NOT CHANGE as I will act on this straight away like I have done now.

I have had to explain this twice now, can people please take note of what I have said and use it on BOTH this site and also JIMS site as neither site deserves this harsh atmosphere...

Keep them both apart particularly if you use both sites!!!

On that note i shall end my comments and hope for a happy atmosphere again.

If anyone has complaints with any of my comments then PLEASE PLEASE PM me straight away... I will not take sides and will take your comments in the STRICIST CONFIDENSE!!!
