I'm richard but most people call me crofty, i have been hanging around this site for a while after coming accross it on google and finally made my entrance on a thread about fake ST's

i'm 18, nearly learnt to drive and am hoping to get a zetec s for my first car. i know this is an st forum but i havent come accross any zs forums i like, scene as the zs is a watered down st i thought i'd join here!!

so there you are, i think i've covered all the basics and i hope to be around here for a while

Welcome to the forum. You have certainly made an entrance with a good debate on the fake cars section, but as you've already said, its a friendly forum. and i agree.
Have fun!

Hello again Crofty.
Like Chris said there's quite a few people on her who don't own and (including me ) I'm sure you'll feel as welcome as I did.

Hi Crofty, welcome to the site

A Zetec S sounds like a good first car, is it the petrol or diesel your looking at?

Chris

thanks guys, you've made me feel very welcome!

chrisST i think i will probably try and test drive them both before i buy but its most likely i'll go for the petrol because the diesel sounds too much like a van! the diesel is also a lot more expensive and probably not worth it for me

i've just been told to book my driving test for the end of nov so hopefully i'll pass then and will probably wait til the start of next year to buy a car but i'll just have to wait and see how things turn out

Hi Crofty,

Welcome to the forum mate. I hope you enjoy it here, it is a very friendly site!

There are plenty of people on here who also don't own an st, so you're not alone here.

Having a z-s as a first car is really good, when/if you get it make sure you get some pics up on the site.

Take care
Chris

Sounds like a very good plan to me m8tey!!! Let us know of how you do!!!

I focused my mind on the examiner being my dad or something, so it took that edge off it... I tried to be as calm as possible and moved my head LOADS each time i looked in my mirrors to make sure he knew I was looking in them!!!

Ull do fine fella... chin up, have a and ull have ur pink ticket to heaven!!!
