Yokohama or toyo proxies are the usual choice

I'd never buy such cheap tires again. Put some on and they were nothing but a nightmare, back end kept stepping out and there was no grip at all.

£44.30 each at camskill, always get good reviews.

After doing a lot of researching and reading countless numbers of positive reviews, I just put a set of Kumho Ecsta KU31 tyres on my ST a couple of weeks ago.

So far these tyres have been excellent and I have been very impressed! .. they are fairly quiet for a low profile tyre, have great handling and grip well on both wet and dry roads .. I can't comment yet of course on the wear but from all accounts they wear fairly well, they are a 320/AA/A tyre so they should be pretty good.

Rubber ones are best. I wouldn't recommend wodden ones as the tyre roar is shocking.

Falken 452's are pretty good and cheap

What about those metal ones then? You often see them fitted on stolen cars on police camera shows and they have lots of sparks coming off them.

CARRIAGE £ 4.98

ORDER TOTAL £ 93.58
Fitting costs me nothing as my cousin runs a garage.

They are some tricked up wheels, I hear they aren't as good at cornering though
Not quite sure why people only do one or two, surely ride comfort must suffer?

Well been out in the rain and to be honest without doing lots of miles they feel a lot better than the pirelli's that have just come off, well happy for the money, My cousin uses kumho's as well as toyo's on the rally car and rates them as good if not better for certain stages, so i will be getting 2 more for the rear.

Mine have been on for just under 200 miles now and I'm in two minds about them. They are better in the wet than my old tires, but about the same in the dry and since fitting them the car seems to roll more in the corners
