After driving round this afternoon my abs warning light has come on. This was soon after making a tight right hand turn. When I got back home I've had a look round and saw the drivers side abs cable has worn down to the wire. To try and fix it I've soldered the two cables together making two complete circuits again. Turned the car over and the light is still on! Do I need to get the ecu reset or do I need to replace the whole cable?
Thanks in advance

if you have fixed it when driving along it will turn off again when it works out the sensor is working again

mine did this when i didnt fit it the sensor back on right after lowering, but it then turned the light off after it was back in correctly

You could always try throwing it left around a corner or roundabout at speed!

Maybe fully re-boot the car system.

Take the +Terminal off the battery for 3mins and fit back.

Note: You will need your radio code to re-enter.

All sorted now! Drove a matter of yards and it went off. Cheers for the replies
