I can't remember if it was on this forum that I read it, it could have been but I'm not sure, ran a search and could not find it.


Am I correct in thinking that the ST 2.0 duratec engine is built by Mazda? If so, is there anywhere I can read about this? I have looked on wikipedia and can't find anything to support the claim about Mazda building it.

Yes its a Mazda 2L badged as a Duratec HE. Mazda's have VVT on their version though.

i never knew that lol. least the engines should last forever if mazda's reliability is anything to go by

That's what I was thinking but I couldn't see anything to support it really other than people saying it.
