Personally it really annoys me when people try to make there fiestas look like ST's!!! it waters down the brand name, makes people think twice as to whether real ST's are genuine and is an insult to those of us who have worked hard for a real one! also the bits on a fake ST are usual stolen from someones pride and joy!
however if you must have an ST body kit do what duncan p says and don’t buy off ebay unless you know its not come of real ST owners cars!

Why would it annoy you have a body kit on a normal fiesta? Whos to say they haven't worked hard for the fiesta they have, maybe a 2.0l petrol isn't what they want, 'fake STs' don't neccessarily have stolen bits on its down to the buyer Its not hard to the difference once you lift the bonnet and do a HPI check to find out if its a real ST
I do think its a bit stupid when people put the ST badges on though

I agree, make it look like one but keep it clean and simple with no badges, 17 yr olds who just pass there tests only need the looks not speed. If ur older then id say dont bother just get an ST :-) Personally i would save my money but were all different! Would be borin if we were all the same

i bought mine half way through my brother doing it up for a first car, so i finished it off (he put the badges on) and it looked nice so i decided to use it as my car, cheap petrol and insurance,i got all my parts from fordpartsuk and my local scrap yard when they had an st in, my uncle has alrady bought me an st500 which ive only seen twice and both me and my uncle agreed for me not to use it and keep it in storage because of the status of it and the value might go up, im not 17 but i still only look for the looks when im in the fez , besides ive got the rs and st for speed hehe and the case about figuring it out if its an st or not how many st's were produced in oyster silver hehe

Also the watering down the brand name....they are sooo many on the roads, its not like they are limited production runs like the ST500, although I struggle to see them being worth anything in the future like the old fiesta RSs aren't although they are starting to creep up in price now

i think he said were keeping it in in storage for about 5 years, then my uncle get a car valuator and value the cars he has in (to make sure hes not loosing money) so if he says it might go up in value then we shall keep in in storage for another couple of years, i was suppose to be getting my mums range rover for my 19th but i would rather have a ford now im into them, my uncles also got a renault sport v6 with the widebody kit on and that which i would love but thats in storage aswell, but time will tell im more than happy going around in my fez and shall be bringing it to plenty of shows next year hopefully
