when i bought mine it was rock solid and just kept wigling up and down then it just popped open =] but iv also found that it is ruining my seats!! the cable is scratching the leather =[

i didnt realise this many people had this problem i thaught it was just me, i think its a joke poor build quality there ford, must have been saving the pennys

The cables had snapped in both of my seats, one about a year ago and the other about 2 weeks ago.I decided i would have to give it a go myself.(arnold clark wanted £160 odd to do it but im skint just now).
The cable kit was £20.21, my handle wasnt broke(till now)but at least the seats tilting again.
I'll post more details when I get a chance

im goin to buy the part off fordpartsuk at the end of the month when i get paid and have a go at it myself, just hope the other one doesnt go on me now
