A few people have just put small TeamRS decals on bumper corners. I have to say that if you were thinking a bit of a rally slag look I think it might look better with full stripes.

I think the full rally slag look would be a bit over the top for me, although I really like st_owner100s car. The two small TeamRS stickers I've ordered I was going to put on the rear bumper just above the bottom reflectors (as shown on torquesteer's website). Was thinking maybe of adding some to the front above the fogs? I just don't want to put things on the car that might make it look really crap.

I dont think it'll look crap! Depending on my meeting this Saturday, I'll have my one and only decal which is manufacturer related (exhaust system) and my car is sooooooo not rally slag

No I guess its not! I just like the idea of having a few stickers on the car but not taking it to over the top. I think I might get myself two more small TeamRS decals to stick under the front fogs (if they'll fit).

just a quick question as it got me thinking not that im going to copy you or anything! cos im sure i'd get told off by you all. but you see how your going to but another vinyl over the stripes on the bonnet (i think - thats how i take it to be anyways) if you took it back off at some point, would you not rip a great big hole in the stripe (not that your going to take it off, this is just a general question) also when the new grafic is in place will you not be able to see bumps and ridges underneath where the stripe is (im thinking of something similar over the stripe - but i have bad luck you see and something bad would happen i just know) by the way this post is for some advice - not me slating your car if thats what your thinking - cos i couldn't - i absorlutely love your car!! oh and how did you get the mudflaps to fit? i didn't think you could fit to an ST?

The TeamRS decal sits over the OTT stripes and you can see the line of where the OTT stripes sit underneath it but you really cannot see this unless you stick your nose right up to the bonnet. All vinyls should come off easily with a small amount of heat applied (e.g. a hairdryer on low heat) but if you do damage the OTT stripes 1stickerboy can rustle up any part of the stripes set you might damage (stone chips, bumps, knocks etc)

The mudflaps are held on by wood screws, I think a shoelace or some string and a prayer. It is a b*gger to get them to fit on really. You'll have to screw into the lining of your wheel arch and hope that what happened to a friend doesnt happen to you (reversing up a kerb, the mud flap was being folded under by the kerb, caught under the wheel and *rrrrrrrrrrip* hey presto there's your wheel arch liner)

It does sound a pain the way you describe the mudflaps as being put on. Torquesteer were meant to be bringing some out specifically for the Fiesta which I presume would be a lot easier to do, but as yet they are unavailable, despite them saying since November that they would be "coming soon". In fact they've brought ones out for the Focus quicker!

They are a g*t to put on

As per my instructions here is an updated pic of Le Slag de Rally

You will notice the repositioned and larger decal on the rear quarter panel, the BTB exhaust on the bottom near the rear wheel arch, the Union Jack & "Dhanapala" (his surname) like the rally drivers have but this needs to be much bigger and, of course, the BP decal! Not much eh?

I thought putting rally numbers on the side was illegal on the road?

Rally cars are road legal so surely not... anybody else know anything about this?
