200bhp and 0-60 in 6 seconds... hmm i don't think so. I'd say 170-180bhp and 0-60 in 7 seconds is more likely from It will be nice when the finally arrives with us though.

needs to pull its finger out as I agree with what st_si says. We are all losing faith and the market is shifting. The mk1 is underpowered at 150bhp. It takes people to mod them to get them up to 170bhp to really enjoy their cars. Or in many cases, even change for a quicker car such as myself, adam08, kenny and Camden with the mk1 Focus and DaveP and Micky with their Focus s and Dave with his Alfa Mito. (There is more but i've not seen you guys at shows yet so sorry to not list. At the Renault World Series i found myself actually liking the Clio RS and I actually really like the Megane RS with the 19" alloys... looks the part imo. ... pull your finger out... give us a god damn fiesta

I can't see them making the fiesta ST having a 0-60 of 6 seconds, think how far they would have to take the focus ST to be quicker

I wouldnt buy this no matter what - Ford will make it so shabby and easy to steal stuff off its not worth it - park this car on some street and come back to find some scroat has nicked everything off it to make their normal Fiesta look better.
Thats just the same with any other car.
The reason behind this generally...
When the top end of the range comes out, you generally find the bottom end comes into the price range of the young generation... and with this comes trying to mod their cars... when trying to mod they want the parts of the top of the range...
With other cars such as BMW, Audi, Merc etc etc this isn't too much of an issue as parts are not in demand so much.
With Fiesta's, Corsa's, Clios etc this happens a lot. With the Fiesta selling so massively it's obviously caused this to be a huge problem.
Unfortunatley you'll never stop this... it's a decision to have a nice car but have that higher risk or own a boring car and know that even the cats won't want to sit on it.
I dont agree with this - i think the build quality on the Ford's are poor in comparison - you dont hear about VW's or BMW's having their bumpers etc nicked time and time again do you? If Ford put more effort into putting their cars together and securing them better it wouldnt be as much of an issue.

House it's because VW and audis are boring, the top of the range are as boring as the bottom of the range Plus not as many young people drive then as they cost more to insure

Aren't the alloys the same as before? I guess they don't want to show off the new ones Can't see it having recaros as standard And just looks a little bit dressed up, TBH it looks like they are just using a base model with an 'ST' engine in to test it

vw is not that boring to be honest got myself a polo GTI and its good fun to drive and so easy to mod with the 1.8T engine, much faster than a ST even so it doesn't handle as well. As for looking boring it may be not as appealing as a ford ST or rs for sure but still people look at it because when ur looking at it u know it not the "basic" polo, same go for the golf or any other VAG car. My dad drive a skoda VRS and people still look a it as well. as For insurance yes its a bit more expensive but as for quality there nothing to compared to ford at least I'm not going to the garage everyweek

Yeah there is tuning company in america that tunes Mk7 Fiesta's and that's what I think they saw the first time round with that mini intercooler...

People shouldn't worry about the styling of that car pictured, if Ford actually make the ST, it'll look brilliant im sure. Whats the point of making a test car look really good, designing new bumpers and alloys etc etc just to drive it around in the secret. They probably stripped it out and put Recaro's in aswell just to test it around the 'Ring...
I really do hope they make this though, a fast F vs. a fast Clio will be an absolute show down. 0-60 in 6 seconds though...nut.

And as for the argument about Audis/BMW's whatever being boring compared to hot hatches etc etc. Any car can stand out with just a bit of cash spent. The first thing people say that stands out about my car is the red Ford badge lol so im sure you can get an A3 to look just as exciting as any new hot hatch.
