Hi guys.

I am saving for White fiesta. Bin looking on ebay and auto trader etc. Ive found that you can get a decent one (05/06) with good mileage for about £5500.

Can you guys give me some pointers on what to look for? Common faults etc? Is it a good idea to buy a reg category D?
Ive got bout £1500 of saving left to do before i can afford one and insurance £1800!

All comments appreciated.

not much to look out for but i wouldnt buy a Cat D car, it might be fixed fine but it could have been bodged!

Yes I agree don't get a damaged car, plenty of nice original ones around, look for broken seat reclining handles, sticking rear calipers, eh thats about it.

The fiesta st is in my opinion an awesome looking car and i am looking forward to owning one. I imagine its going to be a big jump from my 1.2 8v clio. im jus going to have to be carefull till i get used to the car.
