ticket for on a stand, then its per car, paying at the gate just to get in, then its more expensive the more passengers you have

Yes that's correct. The special deal is only for car clubs. Anyone turning up on the gate has to pay per person.

You can either conceed the price or get the person who you wish to sell the ticket to, to fund your bank directly.

Ryder, unfortunately I have to point to the conditions on the FITP payment page:

"Tickets are non-refundable. If for whatever reason you cannot make it the money you have paid for your ticket will go to the site donations. The ticket will then be made available for other members to buy."

I apologise if this seems a little harsh but we had to bring this in a few years ago due to some people not ordering tickets in the hope of bagging a freebie at the last minute.

I have a friend who waited till the last minute to get a ticket, and hasn't managed it. If anyone can't make it, I'd appreciate it if you could let me know!

Thanks!

Agreed with Chris... but I did give the choice to members that they can exchange money privately through bank transfer if they wish to reclaim the £8 or what ever the ticket may cost.

i dont see a problem with people exchanging tickets at cost or a loss privately, but i can understand the admin being warey about them being accounted for in such a case where monies arent recieved or people are lying.

This has happened a couple of times now and the cost was not recovered. This is the reason we came to the conclusion that the tickets are not refundable. If people desperately want the £8 back then that's for them to sort privately. If not, the ticket will be re-sold.
