ah ha ha! Yea i like black cars, always thought they just look real sleek.

I have noticed that there aren’t a lot for sale with bluetooth, but it is the one thing i think i want as an extra, i don’t use my phone a lot (well, i do) and it just kinda seems to make sense to get one with this feature. Any tips on finding one with this?

All the ones i search seem to have aftermarket kits on them (which isn’t what id want).

I also quite like the black leather seats. The two-tone ones look good but the black ones look extra swish.

I will keep you all posted on development etc. The one i like the look of so far is this one,
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/a...us/40?logcode=p

althou i know it wont be for sale still when i come to buying.

welcome along, if you can get insured at that then buy an ST, I have to ask but did you ensure you were quoted for an ST and not just a fiesta, I would double check that out before you go ahead.
Get as many options on the car as you can, nothing much goes wrong with them, seat catches break, tyres at front wear on the edges inner and outer sometimes, check all the discs in good condition and the pads are applying evenly, some calipers stick.

Yea i did the quote on go compare, it was with Admiral.

Dad is a named driver.
Put the number plate of the one in the link i gave as the car, all details correct and its £632.30. So it sounds like that’s pretty good. It basically comes up with 3 cheapish quotes around that mark, and then the rest are all in the 1,100 mark.

Pretty much i think as soon as I’ve done a couple weeks at the new job and i know I’ve settled in fine i will prob just go ahead and buy one. Parents both said wait until the job works out (they are prob thinking 6 months or so, im thinking 6 weeks at the most lol).

Oh, my mate has an alfa brera which is just INSANE. Its .literally the nicest car I’ve been in, but he paid something stupid like 23k for it new. I don’t see why he did it, I’d much rather pay 6k and have all the extra money spare!

Thanks for the warm welcome by the way guys

Are the 3 cheap quotes, admiral, elephant and bell?
If so its because they are all the same company

Defo an aftermarket stereo and nice spot with the rear grill bit. Mine never came with a ciggy lighter, not that I'd need it. I've just got a cap to go over the top of it...

I can't see what you guys mean about the bal grill? But yea, if I am spending 6 grand on a car I want it to be standard so thanks for pointing that out. I will def keep looking for a perfect one and maybe in the mean time try an sort a test drive. Any ideas how I'd do that? Just go to a ford garage and say I am interested?

Thanks again for the welcome chaps
