Warm & moist!

Got the car in for a quick look over today. I have a knocking noise down the right hand side. I reckon its either the bushes, or it could be that damn exhaust shield that runs right down the whole length of the system. Its fixed to the belly of the car obviously, but its a bit loose - so i think it make be rattling about under there.

I just want it back in one piece at 5pm please

Id say the advantage of having had experience of running a large forum for years, is you wont have to put up with me asking classic n00b questions, so yeeeehaw!

Looking forward to settling in

I can't stop myself from thinking... corsa-c.chavtastic.uk. The way you mention "Large" I was chucking to myself thinking it was some sort of slang for "good" or something. Sorry, maybe thats just my horrid imagination

As coincidence would have it I spent about half hour reading a thread about Recaro seats that forum last night. Shame every other post on there was a dig at someone... Ah well, welcome, enjoy this site and the banter that goes with it

Yeah dude, comes with the territory. Its a great forum, really is....but its got SO many members, and obviously the more you have, the more idiots you are gonna get. There are some really decent lads on there, but as you have seen......also a few cocks - u guess you get that anywhere.

Ps - i very much enjoyed the bouncing boobies welcome, *borat voice* - I LIKE

Not really, I simply boot them off and ban them... no messing and no idiots

Ive heard undercar neons increase the handing ability by up to 387.56% , crazy eh?

It sounds like you got out whilst you still had some sense left. Sticker are an extra 40bhp and for each inch of the exhaust size it's 8bhp... if you have more than one this also adds to the total.

Welcome to the site Oli. I look forwards to reading your posts, let us know how you get on

P.S I hate those bloody bonnet bras... but an extra 6bhp for those.

To tell a little story. A chavtastic owner of a Fiesta Zetec S from Cruize somewhere or another went to a rolling road i visited and he had loads of mods, big exhaust, bonnet bra, lowered to the gravel... and he expected 160bhp. It went onto the rollers after a nice standard Racing Puma put out 155bhp and actually put out 95bhp.

To say I was laughing... possibly was an understatement.

Large as in over 33,000 members.....quite a lot of 17-18year olds to manage!

The benefit of having sooooo many members is that our turn out for shows was awesome, TRAX, Performance Vauxhall etc, so that was a good thing.

Looking forward to attending meets/shows, when my car isnt as stock as it is now

Don't think you can't come to the shows just because your car is standard. Everyone's welcome!

My car is standard apart from a K&N and I've been on the stand 3 times

And... Performance Vauxhall? Where Corsa's even allowed?

haha, shush you....there are some lads on there who are putting out 200bhp+ from z20let conversions. I just read about a lad who has managed to push out something like 720bhp......insane!

I enjoyed sitting on the stand in my little 1.2....boooooom!

Yeah dude, mental! Im praying he has seriously uprated every aspect of the brakes, steering and suspension. Some nice lil corsas on there, z20lets especially, but at the end of the day.....its a corsa. I got rid of mine in September.....wanted to move on to bigger and better and faster.....generally just a better quality car

I heard about one that had 2 v6 engines in it, one in the front one in the back and its 4 wheel drive

Fair play, but could have done it to a nicer car?
