How the hell are you paying so much at 39?!! Have you been caught without insurance?

Nah, I've got no such badness against my name! I don't think I have the greatest postcode in the world for one thing, the 2 speeding convictions don't help, and the car is left on the drive. It's not out of the ordinary to be honest, my previous "normal" car was a Fiat Punto and that was over £400 a year to insure.

Even with 5 years NCD I was being quoted mad numbers from the mainstream insurers, I had to ask the insurers of my Aston to quote me and they weren't exactly keen yet still came in cheapest.

jesus i thought i paid a lot...insurance is a rip off!!

I pay £1600 on a 1.2 08 Fiesta, thats only a 10 month policy too. i wanted an ST but I would've had to pay £6400 for a years insurance, now that is a rip off.

You must be a first driver or really young! Its not right though paying for something you dont really get any use out of unless you have an accident or something gets stolen!

yeah my current fiesta is my first car (first insurance year too as it took so long to save up for a decent car) but the quote on the ST was for next year where i'll be 20 with a years NCB which is madness. It's my postcode though =[ around here like 6 cars have insurance (and 4 of them live on my drive)
