and the seats have occasionally had a cover on them if I'm gonna get dirty...

Not just me then! Two weeks after I'd got my I went paintballing, and all my mates were laughing about the fact that I'd wrapped this huge old blanket all the way over and round the drivers seat, covering it entirely. There was NO WAY that I was going to get any marks on it though!

Your car does look very smart, im really impressed at how nice it looks!!!

It looks a little basic and boring inside, but comfy none the less. The will add that little sporty feel!!!

You must remember to fill the up on petrol though!!!

I know, filling up at the clean pump is gonna be a shock to the system! I've had to give about 3 bottles of Millers Diesel Power+ away as I won't be needing it anymore. Just going to alternate each fill, between Optimax and normal unleaded, that's what I used to do.

It was treated with Scotchguard and they've never been cleaned, they've never needed to. The material is very easy to wipe clean if it gets marked anyway...

I'm glad to see scotchguard does actually work, I had some sofa's treated with the stuff, but didn't seem to do anything. Thankfully Courts agreed and replaced the sofas, but refused to treat the new ones as they couldn't guarantee it would work with the specific fabric I had

Strange one that. I can vouch for my treatment working as I spilt a little Pepsi on the seats and it just beaded and I wiped it off with a damp cloth...

Wish mine did that, its time to get the old seat cleaner out when I do anything like that!!! I enjoy cleaning them anyway though

Oh my God, what a day. I got the car this morning, drove away at 10am and went for a spin. Got to my Dad's to notice there was no tax in the window! Back to the dealers for it, the salesman said he had been calling me since I left the car-park. I told him my phone hadn't rang and then realised I'd left it in my Furby when I parked it up! Good job, someone would've nicked it.

Got home for lunch and began to tackle changing the bulbs - 2 hours later I'd finished!!! I'm not going into the ins and outs but that is THE most awkward job I've EVER done on ANY car. I've got cuts, bruises and blood blisters all over my hands. Unknown to me to begin with, I had to get the clusters out in order to change the sidelights and that is a joke in itself! 'Roadside Emergencies' the handbook calls it, the only roadside emergency that'll occur from attempting that operation is a bleedin' on-the-spot skin-graft! Anyway, I've chilled out now and my new bulbs are in, I'll consider changing the fog-light bulbs when I'm next due to lose my sanity.

Just come back in from a serious drive and the car is SO sure footed, it's a completely different drive from the Furby. I'm having to re-adapt my driving to compensate going from mid-range grunt to high-revving power - I'll get there. Forgetting the headlamp nightmare, I'm over the moon! Filling up at the clean pump is a pleasant experience too...

Tell me about it! One of the most frustrating things i've ever done!

I'm well chuffed with it. One of the other bonuses is the QuickClear windscreen, what a Godsend! Leaving for work this morning at 5am and it was frosted over completely, press the button, wait a minute and hey presto! I used to just sit there shivering whilst I had the blowers on full blast at the windscreen, but as the air was still cold it used to take about 10mins or so. I never use de-icer as it rots your window seals and can damage paintwork, I won't use a scraper as it scratches your windscreen and a kettle is a complete no-no, unless you want to call out AutoWindscreens to fix your freshly-cracked one!

I know! Obviously I already knew it was good for demisting it. But I found out earlier this week how great it will be for winter. It was the first time since I got mine that it had been iced up, and after I'd switched it on it literally all melted before my eyes within a minute to a minute and a half as if by magic.

Sounds like an eventful day there Liam.
I hope those bulbs don't blow, touch wood.

Great to hear you're enjoying the and that didn't fill it up with diesel
