hi all. not as yet got my hands on it but thers two diff ST's im having a look at and will be picking one of them up next week!

just a few questions, what mpg can i expect
A-driving like a grandad
B-driving with a 'heavy foot'!

how is the car for reliability?
any common faults to look out for?
also, how does the engine cope with the stage 2 tune to 190bhp?

lastly, do the cars hold their value well? many thanks!

One common fault is the seat catches breaking. In terms of modding, some guys on here are supercharged up to 300bhp! So I wouldn't worry about 190!

Other people will be along in a minute with more I'm sure.

Good luck with the purchase. Stick around when you get one

welcome hello.
very few faults and rarely any, 30 to high 40'mpg, very impressive at 60mph on motorway, under 30mpg if you rev in all the low gears.
Value has crashed so now's time to buy one not have one !

car is tad over 5k, low mileage, got the stage two kit that costs 2k and all the original parts aswell. 5 years old service history and MOT. sound ok? how much would the kit be worth if i took it off? pumpaspeed i think

this however is also tempting me and is cheaper but looks nowhere near as good as the first choice

2005 !, get as new as possible, 07/08, facelift ones have better looking in my opining front and rear lights and definitely better interiour, also you may get the newer Sony Stereo on later cars, personally I would avoid an already modded car.

Back to work, chat later.

I get about 30-34mpg if im plodding about town can some times get a bit more on motorway...booting it about i get about 27/28mpg

cheers for the comment

doesnt matter if you get an older one you can just swap the headlights but like steve said the interior is a bit poop on the older ones, where abouts you from?? jamsport are the guys who tuned mine cost me about £1380 to get to 181 which i thought was pretty cheap! so even if you buy a standard one it wont cost you an arm and leg to get modded.

had my car nearly 2 years and all i have changed is a throttle body and that was my fault it went wrong!

the engine will cope fine! im running 173bhp with only an exhaust change and induction and bigger throttle body!

A) why would u buy a modded then revert back to standard?? Just buy a standard one if its what u want mate

B) The site is going thru an overhaul atm so only full, donating members can see all sections, see SCOTT's THREAD

most of the parts are easily removable! the only thing with the 190 kit is the map thats hard to revert back to a standard map!

thought original was stored on DS and then you reload back, I guess only if you purchased DS otherwise will have been deleted by PS ?

Going for the modded car, I test drove a standard and couldn't resist the chance of 190 in a fiesta! I pick it up Tuesday, here is the car http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2244870.htm
