Tesco are good and if you have a Clubcard, they give you a discount

Admiral/elephant have always came up trumps with me. Although it is still expensive they were the cheapest I found!

I'm 20, btw.

Cant believe i only pay £270 fully comp. No wonder so many kids run around without insurance, which then forces our insurance up.

4 years no claims at 18?

Greenlight are either over 21 or over 25 I think - can't remember which though

Adrian Flux wouldn't even quote me due to my age. I'm 22 and got 4 years no claims, paying just over £1000 with Tesco. Expensive but worth it

Admiral are the best, use to cost me about £1500 at 18
Remind them about adding parents or older persons to the insurance

Adrian Flux were not in the real world when i came to insure. They thoguht £4000 for my was a brilliant price.

I get myself and Sarah, who had only passed her test for 1 week and also had Europe cover for just over £1000.

does that mean for the first time insurance will go up instead of going down at renewal time when you get a no claims?

If mines anything to go by then yes unfortunately. Since my one accident in 2006 my insurance has gone down every year, and even then by shopping around I've been able to bring it down further and last year I only paid £470. This year my renewal I got last week was £580 and after many hours searching I haven't yet found any cheaper.

Insurance is a strange thing. You HAVE to shop around. My previous one's were:
Mk3 Fiesta 1.3 at 17 years old was £1200
to the age of 19. Then:
Fiesta ST no mods at 20 was £1100 Then it went down to £800
for 21 years old and then I
Supercharged it went to £530 at the age of 22! Weird eh?
Now I'm 23 and coming up for renewal I'm sure they'll screw me over and I'll have to find another company to insure the mods

Happy hunting
