Just to add to what Scotty said, as I also drove on that trip through Greece, I agree that most of the roads are in an awful state and are of a poor standard. However... the one thing I will add in favour is that there were a fair amount of wide single carriageways, and I noticed that they actually knew how to drive there by pulling right over and leaving you plenty of space to get past, unlike in Britain where most slow traffic hogs the road up to the white line and stops you from getting past.

Welcome! Only one question, Canon or Nikon?

I started with a D80 Nikon which was faulty right out from the factory and gave me too much trouble with dust in the sensor, a faulty shutter and so on. I got me a second hand Canon eos 500d, which works like clockwork along with a 10 - 22mm and the 24 - 105mm

Thus, it's Canon all the way for me.

Good lad, just got my 500d in the post a couple weeks ago You've spent a fair bit on lenses! I need a new one, but with insurance, christmas and new seats it's going to have to wait until next year
