I'd have liked to have learned to drive in that!!

Mind you its probably a good job that I didn't or I'd never have passed my test!

beats the 1.4 tdci fiesta zetec i'm learning in!

One of the driving instructors that works for the driving school i'm with (1st Aire in Leeds)has a 120d ES, i wish he was my instructor

I learnt to drive in a 1.9 Tdi Clio Tin Can... I felt so unsafe in it, the quality of the car was complete tat, interior just full of grey plastic and it was an awful car, but it was pretty nippy once going and also got me through my best 1st time, so not complaining at that

Still faster than the Rover 100 that I learned to drive in though!

That would be great fun, it would be even harder to keep within the speed limit in that!

Its much better than the lethargic Peugeot 1.4HDi I learned to drive in though, you had to think about overtaking long before you even attempted it.

I've seen a driving school around the Brentwood area with a Red ST with no stripes (or perhaps it could have been a Zetec-S!).

I've seen a silver Zetec S learner car near me many times, and everytime I go past it the instructor looks at my car. He's probably thinking I wish I could have one of those with dual controls
