Hey guys. just 2 quick questions from me.. i havent searched the forum so sorry about that. anyway i just want to know where is the AUX connection and how do i go about getin my ipod to work? where do i point the alarm sensor thing? cuz i point the key fob all over the car and sometimes it locks/opens and some time it doesnt which really annoys me.. thanks guys. drive safe.

the aux should be on clear display next to your gear stick and cig lighter. just plug the jack in from iphone to car and hey presto, its connected

new fob battery they don't work too far away and sometimes are quite prone to interference from other electical items sending out signals, sometimes don't work then few hours later do.

for got to mention i gota new battery the other week for it.. still very tempremental (spelling?) like just i could open it fine.. but then get out to lock and nuffin.. so i av to use the key (but i wana be lazy!!!)

Its an optional extra mate, by the sounds of it the owner from new didn't have it fitted!

double check is the newer 6000 with the aux button on it




yeh its got the aux button on the left hand side. and the volume in the middle n everything else lol one question to fit this i will have to take the whole thing out right? because if i do have to take it all out ill do that first to make sure there isnt a wire already there or w.e who knows... thanks

it should be a peace of p+ss mate if you dont want to make a hole near the gear stick then put it in the glove box

Yep it was an option, once you have the kit and wired it up then you will have the socket which you can put wherever really, then buy a gold plated jack to jack lead for your Iplod (make sure you buy a Stereo lead not mono), the gold plated is much thicker and fits the aux socket much better than the standard chrome jacks.

it was made standard in 2007 i believe so you 55 plate would not have had it!

not even sure it was an option that early on

AHH im a donater(spelling?) now WOOPS.. anyway just a lil uppppdate.. i dun it! it all came yesturday and i got it all done. so thank alot kenny i would probz still be lost if you didnt help lol. n i brought a really kool ipod to aux connection ill get a piccy up one day cuz i think its sweet lol. anyway cheers guys for the help.. time to explore the rest of the website now
