I think im going to go ahead and remove the OTT stripes (good idea or bad?) just wanted to know if this is somthing you would reccomend to do yourself or not. i was worried that because they have been on the car for a long time, will it be a different shade of color due to sunlight? cheers in advance.

If you remove the stripes, I'd imagine the colour could be a different shade - depends how well the paint has been looked after I suppose!
