Cheers everyone for the warm welcome! Quote:
Hey Jim B. Welcome to the site! I thought you might be from around there or Wales due to the "tidy" comment I trained at Cardiff Uni, so know the area well! Whereabouts are you based in Herefordshire? £600 is not bad at all. I've just renewed mine with Admiral - with breakdown cover the total cost was £945 with 1 year NCB.
Lozzy - how come you're paying so much with 5 years NCB?! Who are you with?!
Haha, I suppose it is a bit of a local word, as is using "alright?" as a greeting. I went to a Welsh uni too, Aberystwyth. I'm West of Herefordshire, not far from Hay on Wye, which is on the border, famous for books...!
My final quote was £640 as I added personal injury compensation. Lozzy try adding your parents to your policy as named drivers, I did this and it brought my quote down by about £150, £200!

Hi mate welcome to the site are you any where near Ross on Wye?
Not far, about 30 - 45 mins. Why do you ask?

For mudflaps have a look here and scroll down to see what I bought
Cheers Duncan, they look about spot on, although £70 does seem expensive for 4 bits of plastic and some small brackets...?!
Anyway, picked the car up Saturday morning. What a car, I love it! The power from about 4k is fantastic, it certainly shifts!
I just hate the price of fuel and the ST certainly drinks it when you're driving it properly!
I'm sure I'll be spending a fair bit of time here from now on, I'm sure the knowledge here will be invaluable!

Yeah they are expensive but they make a difference for me
Sorry for asking here, can't post in some of the other sections of the forum (because I'm not a full member or don't have enough posts?), but are the teamtorque steer mudflaps you have a matt or gloss finish? Really need some as the lanes around here are very muddy and gritty, so I need some ASAP!

Ok, cheers for that, think I'll get some. Shame there's no manufacturer moulded type that fit the rear of the ST.
