Renewed my car insurance beginning of this month and found admiral was the cheapest and yesterday got a letter saying there was a discrepancy saying modification alloy wheels non standard and they wanted to take another £38.16, rang them up and told ,them that the fiesta st 500 comes with alloys standard,

What a joke luckily I checked, once I said they came standard and she said they won't take the extra money now.

Always wanting more money, seems like they are good enough to sort it out though

They are both the same company.

They insure my with me and Sarah on it for £30 a month less than my silver car... figure that?

I have

Bottom number should work as that's Cardiff's standard area code and that's where the offices are based.

Make a diary of every call you have to make, how long it is and what the outcome is. Some people have managed to claim this money back if the insurance company is useless

I'm with Admiral too as they were the cheapest at the time.

Had to make a claim last year as the girlfriend drove/rolled into the back of someone. Car was fixed quite quick, no hassle off Admiral - it was my gf who was at fault. Only had to make the one phone call to them.

I have protected no claims as I have 9 years now, but I expect the premium will go up come renewal.
