Over estimated the speed you can carry through the corner so....

A. carry on at that speed and crash
B. use a controlled manner to slow down the car

No one use it then? If you're going a bit quick part the way around a bend and you start to feel the car understeering a bit of left foot braking transfers weight to the front wheels and you find more grip, or if its slippy the backend can start to come out but its quite controllable.

Don't you read Dan?

Its a rally driving technique, Google it.

Not really braking and accelerating at the same time, its gently using the brakes to prevent understeer.

What they don't know won't hurt them!

Obviously I'm not as good as that, and I'd never go sideways like that!

I got used to it in my old car, bit more confidence going into bends and it was good fun on lanes I knew. Shame I can't see if it helps in the ST, but there must be a way to stop it doing this as there are a lot of Group N ST rally cars, and a number of drivers would be doing it...

yeah no need to do something like that
Just roll through the corner, gently brake if needed in the corner and then back on the gas on the way out! That's what I do, can't catch me!
