believe it or not i have never owned one before.

I brought it from autobritedirect.co.uk as i heard good reviews and prices from other buyers.

Any ways my gun with a karcher fitting came to £42.00 and my 5ltre foam mix was the bog standard original £14.99 or something around that price.

I ordered it tuesday it's come today great timing on delivery as i was going to clean my car this weekend.

So i opened it up bit puzzled as i found a pink foam mix (snow foam with wax) i ordered the original without the wax which was cheaper.

got it all out and then i noticed that on the title of the mixture someone had tried to deface the "With Wax" by attempting to scrape it over with something.

They'd probably ran out of the original standard mix and to get rid of stock shoved this one in.

doesn't bother me I've saved like £1 still cheeky though i guess they didn't want to lose business so instead just threw this one in instead.

Depending the pressure washer fitting yup im told you get better results using the lance for the pressure washer then a gun for the hose pipe.

Got mine the other day, group buy on detailing world

£39,99 for lance and 500ml of solution
Think 5l is £12 as well for anyone else that wants one

You tried it out yet?
Cleaned my parents black merc and it cleaned up quite well with no water marks left as far as I know (left to dry on its own)

Haven't tried it yet but im holding high expectations looking at genuine before and after pics people have posted onto the internet. Some of them have been done with minimal effort with average wash, others people have used it with wash mit and pulled off some stunning clean pictures.

Apparently it's not a good idea to do it when the cars wet because the water creates a sealant against the dirt better to do it on a completely dry car where the foam/suds can apply onto the dirt.

The basic principle is it lifts dirt and particles away from the paint work if left wet you can merely use a hose pipe, pressure washer, bucket of water and wash off all the loosened dirt and grit, better results come from the rpessure washer so i've been told.

So when you do a shampoo wash using a sponge or wash mit your not picking up dirt and putting it back into the bucket your washing with thebn onto the paint, making the whole cleaning process quicker and more effecient.

Yep what lozzy said! Loosens dirt! Anything which removes dirt without actually touching it mist be a good thing! Dont expect a miracle though, you still have to give it a proper wash after it of your car is muddy.

okay bit baffled now, don't think there are any instructions on the chemical guys Maxi suds bottle, but the instructions with the Gilmour Gun say fill the bottle up with the neat solution, then when using it adjust the dial for differing levels of spray/foam. So I was going to just empty the bottle into the gun bottle ??
