hey guys n gals! im a 21 year old male from north wales and iv just bought myself a fiesta st in silver. its a 55 plate and its standard apart from a crappy universal induction kit but i will be replacing that with the standard airbox for the time being, as long as i can get one cheap.
my previous car was a suzuki baleno gsr which was great fun but handled like a bag of s**t. i was the admin on the uk owners forum
i picked my st up just yesterday and in all honesty i havent really put my foot down much. im just enjoying the smooth gearbox and comfortable ride at the moment.
any common faults i should be aware of while i still have warranty?
cheers
Loz

welcome along, pics when you can, put a K&N on for a decent noticable increase in power, not much goes wrong, odd seat catch breaking, odd caliper sticking, that's about it. You can also join for a teeny donation the members section and also our secret section too. Others will be along soon to chat. I make that two Lozzy's

shall be donating later in the month, just want the standard airbox on for now. with me being 21 and iv not been driving two years yet i want to be fully insured, and i cant afford to add modifications to the insurance just yet!
drivers side seat catch has broken already, is it a simple fix? also the bonnet tab that you pull to open the catch has been replaced for a zip tie, is this likely to be a part that ford will be able to replace?
cheers for the welcome, i will be a long term resident and will become a pain in your arses im sure!

not a great picture, but limited light and owning an iphone 3gs dont work well together i live in old colwyn. spend a bit of time up near hollywell, got friends up there and will occasionally show my face at the petrol heads cafe in bagillt (so embarressed to admit that)

post in the technical section and Tez will probably answer for you our resident mechanical guru, seat catch can be done yourself by removing the leather to get at it, think the bits are cheap just Ford will charge you a fair bit for it, never ever heard of the bonnet tab breaking, assume you mean the Lip that flings out when you open the bonnet ?
enjoy the site and members section, bed time for me.
