For some reason I am unable to post in certain threads, such as the Fiesta ST Spotlamps thread. I get the error:

You don't have permission to access /addpost.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Any ideas?

It's been happening alot recently. Give it a bit of time and it should be ok. the hosting company mucked something up when moving the site to new servers. Scotty is looking into this though

I've just checked your account on that thread and you shouldn't have any problems replying on there.

The error is with the Mod Security on the server. They keep setting this but it seems to keep reverting back. To be honest it's actually pissing me off quite a bit.

Please can everyone post up when they get this error and let me know what they do to get it.

Can you tell me exactly what you are doing and what is not working. Step up step. I can't replicate the issue and would like to fix it if it's a problem.

was trying to post about 6 pictures
i deleted 3 and it worked, then tried posting 3 more in a seperate post and now it keeps giving me the error as above

The same as above. When trying to add several images you get the error. Hasn't happened for a little while though.

Think it's something on the server not just this forums software as i've had the same error on st-rs aswell.

I got could not connect to server yesterday or the day before, could go on any other website ok but not this one or st-rs

This issue is very odd... it doesn't happen all the time and i've tested it over many hours to try and fix it... I change bits but can't find the issue. This is deffinatley server bound and they can't seem to find the issue either. Other than having the permissions /mod folder.

Nope still not had a problem as of yet, think I'm the sites favourite

it done it again,about 8 times this morning and all of a sudden its letting me post again

Chris also commented that he had the issue this morning also.

It seems not to be a specific login but the whole site and every user that gets the error.

It's deffinatley a server issue and it's narking me right off now.

I have had the hosting company look into this again today. They have changed more settings on the server. Can you guys let me know if you get any more issues.

I need to know... all detail on issue and exact time and what was done to get it.
