Noticed earlier that my left bulb has gone, is it easy to replace it?

Also where is the best place to buy the bulb from, Halfords?

think you might have to take the headlight out if you have big hands like me
either way it's not difficult! there's a guide on here on how to remove the front headlights
I normally get bulbs from halfords- unless you know of an independent car shop or something that might be better

which bulb has gone?? the passenger side bulb can be done without taking the whole unit out, just a bit fiddly.

If one of your bulbs has gone you may as well replace them with the brilliant white bulbs which are 50% brighter.

I found the best way to replace them is to remove the screws and leaver out the headlight. It is difficult to get it back in place but with some persuasion you will get it back in. Well worth upgrading the bulbs

Time for HIDs

Well that wasn't as simple as expected!

Decided to replace both with a pair of Halford's 50% Extra Bright bulbs. Passenger side was a squeeze, but took a couple of mins.

On to the drivers side, tried to remove the engine coolant tank to gain access, that wouldn't budge. Had to remove the front grill and, and with a bit of force pull out the whole of the light.

The get the lights calibrated, job done!

Are HID's legal for a Fiesta ST?

form I can see HIDS are amazingly bright and shockingly problematic.

I got a mate at a garage to do mine

He put his hand around the back of the passenger side one and did it in seconds.
Driver's side on the other hand he removed the bolt on the engine coolant pot and moved it to one side so he could get round the back of it

I think it would be easier to escape from Fort Knox rather than changing a headlight bulb

I read the words headlight bulb replacement and all I could think was omg you poor poor person

I get my bulbs from fleabay I paid £25 on one of them bulb sites for some only for one to blow 6 months later, same bulbs £10 on fleabay
