i ended up paying the full asking price of £9.5k but i got a good trade in on my scooby. but on the plus side the car has all the extras i was looking for. not many of them were fully loaded. i should hear about the finance tonight and pick it up friday if i'm lucky

what year and miles is the 500 if you dont mind me asking ??

it was an 03 gx sport with STI alloys, all the looks without the go lol. i bought it as a family car last august thinking the fuel consumption wouldn't be as bad as it's turbo'd big brothers. how wrong could i have been.

i looked around for cars that appealed to me, preferably from the ford family as i have access to a ford super technician, cheap parts and servicing

the cars i narrowed it down to were a Mondeo ST tdci and a fiesta ST

after hunting round for clean examples of both i happened upon an ST500 and was smitten. i went and looked at a few and found that not all were fully loaded, so the quest was on to find an ST500 with all the toys.

so now i have a 2008 58 25000 miles, folding mirrors, 2 remote fobs, auto wipers, auto lights and all the other ST500 bits such as heated leather and carbon trim.

4 more sleeps until ST day hehe

god i didnt realise when i bought mine how high they look standard, first job....springs. other than that...

looks really smart bud. do the 500's come standard black wheels and tinted rear windows? i know how you feel waiting around, i had to wait 3 weeks to insure mine, waiting and waiting, days feels like weeks ...
