Put the on the Dyno at IASCA finals today. Castrol Edge was running the dyno there.

showed
121.3 kW @ 5354 rpm and 267 Nm @ 3764 rpm
164 bhp

Car is totally STOCK, only changed the headlamp bulbs, doubt that coulda made a difference.

It doesn't seem right to me.
It seems way to overpowered (BHP figure) and that torque fiqure looks crazy.

Don't you guys in SA use 93RON aswell.

EDIT: Just been on Ford website and got this.

2.0 Duratec 1999 cc 4 cylinders in line; DOHC; 16 valves; alloy cylinder head and block; electronic multipoint fuel injection
110 kW (150 PS) at 6000 min-1 (rpm)
190 Nm at 4500 min-1 (rpm)

It does seem a bit out to me. I'm taking it that the SA is the same standard spec. as the European one here?

Gareth

The ST specs are the same in SA.
I filled up with Engen Dynamic Unleaded 95 or 97. Guys at the station are not sure if it is 95 or 97.

When I picked the ST up the guys from Ford did say that they set the car up fully for performance and not for economy. Not sure if theres any truth in that, anyway those guys normally tell you what you want to hear.

Gonna try and take it for another test somewhere else, hopefully wedding planning doesn't stuff it up, this weekend.

I've had mine rolling roaded quite a few times to keep an eye on my mods.

Stock - 148 (spot on the standard figures from Ford)
Panel filter - 151
K&N 57i induction kit, Milltek flexipipe & cat back exhaust - 167 & 168

I think I have been quite lucky but I have used the same rolling road, same fuel for all those except the 167 when I decided to double check & see if Janspeed gave me the same figures as my local rr (whats 1bhp between friends? *heh*), which they more or less did.
