Thanks Rob

I like to play snooker every now and again

Need a new case as well me thinks, my cue currently breaks in half so would need a 3/4 length case as most seem to break at 3/4

You can get a 2 piece snooker cue with a small extension plus a butt section that u can add to the tip piece and you have a pool cue.

Hope that makes sense, its what i have, effectively a 4 piece cue, Chedder Classic i think it is

Riley's are ok, its like any sport, having expensive equipment doesnt automatically make u a good player

Highest break in Snooker is only 32 but that was 4 reds followed by 4 blacks so nice cue ball control

Trying to learn to place the cue ball properly now, and getting side spin on it as well

I got the cheap one off ebay as the ones at the clubs are always crap but wanted something to see if I wanted to carry on, even though I have a pool table at home

I play both pool and snooker recreationally. Used to have my own pool cue. Bought it from the local pool hall for about €100. Sold it a while ago though.
I bought my own Snooker cue a few years back, a £30 cue from some uk sports shop, but rarely get a chance to play cause my mates here all prefer pool. (I generally only get to play snooker when i'm in the uk visiting friends, and of course I dont have my cue normally)

But are you talking about english pool or international/american pool?

Predator and Schon are super pool cue brands but they are pricey. A mate of mine had a Schon butt with a predator shaft and paid about €500 for them.

I've played in leagues for 6 years and all the time have used a 30 quid sportsworld 3 piece cue with extension and case. When u get a cue get the tip off straight off and put a blue diamond one, 10mm is my preference, and some triangle chalk. Then you are setup for life if you look after you cue.

Useful with the mini butt as I haven't got much room round my pool table at home

Would love to own a pool table oneday. I want to learn how to position the ball and how to make a pot at certain angles!
