Any tips from people on here that have used tinting spray?
I'm going to buy the E-tech tinting spray and start on the side repeaters and then look at doing that back brake light. Any help or tips from anyone?
Sorry to hijack the thread but you've got us on to something Gary haha

lol guys. Well I'm going to buy a can before FITP. Get some newspaper and masking tape around paintwork and other bits and get spraying!
Google it and there's a Seat Forum where a guy did it that way... Looks good!

I think, i may be wrong however, that u remove the parts to be tinted and spray the inside of the lenses, otherwise its gonna flake off over time

i would recommend this for the main lights
http://www.flyeyeskit.co.uk/
then the spray for the middle brake light as it so hard to cut round it and the jet washer on it and maybe the reflectors aswell

i brought the whole light unit off of the seller on ebay so i didnt have to use any spray or anything and it didnt come with a bulb i had to use the blub out of my light when i swapped them over.
You just have to make sure you get the 3 door light and not the 5 door light lol. I was impressed with the light i got

vicky: dont use spray if u go to dark u cant remove, paint stripper ruins the plastic, u would have to start over.

This was my first fez I tinted all the lights myself, with aerosol panther black and laqured over the top, they lasted !!! Well until I sold it atleast, would recommend led bulb to enhance the light a little bit really straight forward any more questions just ask!!!
