Its got to the point where i may be going a little mad, when i go over a bump or a on rough rough, its like my spare wheel is not fastened down and its jumping around in boot, or the parcel shelf is not in properly. I have checked them both and all ok, has anyone else had or resolved this.

how secure is the spare wheel. the nut can feel tight but the wheel still has room to move. also where do you keep the jack and wrench??

My rattle stopped when I uprated the suspension
The squeak around the stereo happens now and again though!

Also the rubber exhaust mounts can squeak
try using a bit of WD-40 on them- cured mine

Try to use grease on the exhaust mounts that won't dry up

sounds like the spare wheel, but no one will volunteer to go in the boot and check while driving...i dont know why!!

I will check tomorrow on all of those, apart from the exhaust is all new so wont be that, i keep the jack under the wheel with that screw holding it in place. cheers

My parcel shelf used to jump around on the drivers side goin over bumps etc.... put another washer in between the rubber grommet where it sits against the plastic on the boot lid when it's shut..... Solved!!

Maybe that is why It's rattling, the last owner had a problem, someone got in to check and forgot to let him out.

lol, took the wheel and jack out, still did it, checked exhaust, all fine. it sounds just like the boot isnt shut but its not that, could be the parcel shelf as its looser on one side, will do the washer behind the rubber tonight.

well i went 50 miles tonight and on the way home i took the parcel shelf off an put it on the back seat, still happens over bumps, But i can hear it much louder now the parcel shelf is off. Going out in a minute with someone in the back to find the problem as this is getting annoying now!

Child seat..lol wish mine was an easy fix like yours!!

Check that your Rear Number plate is not loose, knocking on the tailgate?
