And sry for the messed up wheel arches... sadly it´s still winter here... half way..... And completed The new brakes havent been fitted as the old ones are still to good to change Rear axle only took 20 minutes This is how it looks now. I think the rear axle will be going down a bit more and thats it. The Michelins are also fitted and waiting for polish and seal. What a great day ! Everything worked perfect. And it only took 3 hours. _________________________

I like a clean looking car but haven't got the patience to go that deep into it that you do Do you buy your car parts from German shops or U.K? Wondered if I could find some German web shops that could be cheaper then the U.K but haven't found any yet.

Most of the stuff is cheaper then here in germany. Specially when it comes to ford parts uk is where to find the most and some of the best parts! After looking at my car for a while i think i will raise the front a little bit. Think its to low for my dayli usage. And thanks for your comments as always ! One bad thing we have noticed while the car was on the lift is that the lower engine mount is at the end of its life. The rubber has cracks and i think this is why my car "rattles" since a few weeks when the engine is warm while start driving. But ist seems as a quick and cheap fix. _________________________

Car felt strange the last weeks specially when changing gears at lower speeds... On saturday when we installed the coilovers we saw that the rubber in the lower engine mount was cracked.... Put the car up, undo 4 screws put the new one from ford in and your done. Screws need 48Nm for thightening. Here´s the little bugger... So now with the coilovers and the new engine mount the car feels great ! So from the technical side everything is sorted now... So sad its still fuc**** cold that i could not start detailing it and put the summer wheels back on....
