A small upgrade....

As the second stock Torque Link also startet to get wobbly it was time for Powerflex..

Up she goes....

Out with the old one

And in with the one wich comes with the car but now with powerflex bushes.

All screws torqued up to 48Nm and thats it.

Should have done this earlier....
Car has never felt so good during gear changes...

Looks great imho. I hope the paint matches perfectly but canīt tell as long the car is dirty...

ha

sometimes stiffer torque links transmit more vibration through into the cabin.

Ahh now i got it.

Youre talking about the torque link headbang
sry

You feel a bit more Vibrations but nothing starts to rattle.

Best thing is when you start the car. Feels great.

I went for the vibratechnics torque link instead just changing the bushes, feels like an absolute animal at times with the vibrations. Its bedded in now so not to bad but the first couple months were a bit stupid lol

Started to remove both doorcards today....
To get rid of some terrible noises while driving...

And to dampen the door a bit more and some rust protection.

Removed the inner mirror Trim, the door handle and the two lower screws.
Then fingers crossed that nothing breaks and off the panel goes...

shock

Thats it for today.
The stuff for dampening the door will arrive tomorow, then i will remove the whole rest.
