Hmm good question....

I don´t know maybe i´am a freak

Did wonder that too that has no stone chips what so ever not even on the plastics or fog lights.

that or the roads you drive that on are properly looked after by council

The roads in Germany are generally really good I think, as they are in Holland too.

Hi

After the long cold winter i´ve started wednesday to give my car its three day spring makeover including a full Zaino paint threatment

Started wednesday morning:

Get some washing gear ready....

Removed the license plates

And started with the wheelarches and the wheels

Its magic !

Hmm rim beading

Snow Foam Video

Some foam fun ...

Rinsed and straight onto the wash

Beading everywhere !
Gtechniq stuff is just simply amazing !

After the wash i took a 5minute brake with the carps

Then dryed, clayed and started masking up the fezzy

After that the polishing stage...
Ok i have to say the paint was in very good condition so i gave it a light polish with my Flex 3401 a light polishing pad and some Meg#205

That´s the result !

Already polished:
Hood and the driver side (your passenger side ;-)

Thats it for wednesday.

Thursday morning time for part 2 !

Frontbumper ....
Looks like there quite a few small impacts ...
Live with it oder paint it ......

Meg#205 after the polish ready to wipe off.

Roof done !

After getting the dust from the car it was time to start the Zaino threatment...

First up:
Zaino All in One wich is the first important step for a long lasting and super shiny paint seal.

Applyed with the flex 3401 and some Lake Country Glazing Pad
at moderate speed

Zaino AIO on the whole car (here the hood) and left to cure for at least 30 minutes.

And removed

Quite shiny already

Parked him back where the fezzy has to wait until saturday to get the final threatment.

3 Layers of Zaino Z2 boosted with Zaino ZFX
And a final layer with Zaino Z8 Grand Finale

Will post an Update when its done.

Hi

After 7 more hour´s of work today (i guess over 20 in total) i finished the work on my paint......

After Zaino AIO followed with 3 layers of Zaino Z2 (accelerated with Zaino ZFX)
and a final coat with Zaino Z8.

Some finish pics

So whats next to do....

Interior
Exterior trim has to be theated with Gtechniq C4
Wheel arches (When i have my new wheels)
And some other bits and bobs

great work bud, im just about to start detailing mine this year, has not had a proper machin polish for a year. I currently have c4 on all exterior trim and love it, will be getting c5 for the wheels some time, did you find it hard to apply and what size did you get of the c5?

Your "a" in fiesta isn't straight ;-)

Looks absolutely spot on though, red is definitely the colour to have!
